Advanced Gauge per Objective Report

Advanced Gauge per Objective Report

The Advanced Gauge per Objective report is very similar to the Advanced Gaugereport in the way that it shows you the indicators as gauges. The difference lies in the arrangement of the gauges. In the Advanced Gauge per Objective report the gauges are arranged according to objective. There is also a bar indicating the result for the objective as a whole and for the ProMES project as a whole. In the Advanced Gauge per Objective report it is the color below the needle that indicates the generated value to the organization, the greener the color the more positive the value and the redder the color the more negative. The needle's movement illustrates the measured result of the indicator, and as you know, a higher result isn't always better. The color of the dial represents the contingency. This way you also get information about how steep the sloop is below the needle. This way you can assess if it is worth the effort to try to increase the result for this particular indicator.
Let's take an example:
In this case indicator "Name of Indicator 3" shows a better result than "Name of Indicator 2" although the needle on "Name of Indicator 2" is further to the right, simply because the color below the needle of "Name of Indicator 3" is greener.
The bars work like this: the more the needle is to the green side the better the result.
Besides the black needle indicating the current period's result there is also a gray needle indicating the result of the previous period. This will give you a quick way to identify items "going the wrong way".
The Advanced Gauge per Objective report page is divided into four different sections. The toolbar, the objectives, the bars and the gauges.
